Opportunity to be involved in democracy
Would you like to earn a bit of extra cash and get involved in the Democratic process?
The Count for the Blackpool South By-Election is taking place on the evening of Thursday 2nd May 2024 at Blackpool Sports Centre, West Park Drive, Blackpool FY3 9HQ.
We are looking for Count Assistants to help count the votes. To undertake this role you must be numerate, calm under pressure and be able to work from around 9.15pm on 2nd May until the early hours of the morning.
The hourly rate of pay is SCP 6 (£12.38) at time & half. This equates to £18.57 per hour.
Please note: The Acting Returning Officer is not permitted to employ anyone who is/or has carried out duties on behalf of any political party or candidate at the election.
