Electricity works on Amy Johnson Way
The utility diversion works on the business park are continuing this week, before finishing for Christmas and restarting in February.
The works require three-way traffic lights at corner of Avroe Crescent and Amy Johnson Way next Monday 16 December. These lights are expected to be gone by Wednesday, and will be manned throughout to prioritise entering the business park in the morning, and leaving in the afternoon.
The works require three-way traffic lights at the north east corner of the business park near Skyways. It is hoped this will be complete by 18 December.
Following this, some final works will take place in February, around the entrance from Squires Gate Lane and near Avroe Crescent.
The works are vital to help us complete the construction of the new Eastern Gateway link road.
Progress on the road is going well, and it is on time to open next year. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.
