Drainage surveys on Common Edge Road
Two days of drainage surveys will take place on Common Edge Road later this week.
The drainage surveys are required to inform the design for the new Enterprise Zone highway, which will connect Common Edge Road with Amy Johnson Way.
Temporary traffic lights will be needed to safely conduct the surveys on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th October. This will involve:
- Four way temporary traffic lights at the junction of School Road and Common Edge Road on Thursday 12 October.
- Two way temporary traffic lights at Common Edge Road opposite Lytham St Annes garden centre on Friday 13 October.
To reduce the impact on traffic, these works will be completed outside of rush hours on the road – between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
We apologise for any inconvenience, but have tried to keep this to a minimum where possible.
The drainage surveys will help confirm the design for the new road connecting to the Enterprise Zone, and the Enterprise Zone will update residents and businesses on the progress later this year.
