Covid 19 PCR Tests with Hangar 3 at Blackpool Airport
Hangar 3 together with their affiliated partner DAM Healthcare have announced that they will be the first North West flight based operator/ handling agent to offer 2019 Covid Rapid PCR Assay Tests (RT-PCR), which will be carried out in the Private Medical Facility at Hangar 3 Private Aircraft Facility, from 5th January 2021, at Blackpool Airport, daily by appointment.
The tests will be carried out by trained health professionals and will include analysis for SARS COV 2 which is the virus which causes COVID19. Together with the results we will include a Fit to Fly or Fit to Work Certificate signed by Professor Franklin Joseph MBBS, MD, FRCP< GMC no 5204695.
Test results can be available from 8 – 48 hours subject to requirements and we also have available home visits and a courier service to deliver the certificates directly to your door.
Hangar 3 have put this practice into place to support the growing number of Independent Aircraft Movements here at Blackpool Airport but welcome the opportunity to support all travellers who need such certification from wherever they embark in the North West.
Additionally, Hangar 3 will also make available ‘Arrival Testing’ for passengers entering the UK independently, this will reduce the current quarantine period (outside travel corridors) to 5 days and then hopefully to less as the year progresses.
