Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone straddles the boundary of two local authorities Blackpool and Fylde (purple dash line on plan shown above). For those businesses operating in Fylde, Fylde Borough Council’s webpage with information and advice on financial support to businesses affected by Covid-19 is now live. Business Support
This contains a range of information and links to both national support programmes and those specific grants schemes that are being administered by each local authority. The grant ‘application’ form is also accessible at a link from this page.
In accordance with the access to support arrangements adopted by national government the only grant programmes currently being administered by Fylde Council are the:
• Small Business Grants Fund (SBGF)
• Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund (RHLGF)
The form on the Fylde Council web page is in respect of these two grant schemes only. More information and guidance on these two funds can be found on the news item on this website dated 02-04-2020
If there are any businesses within the enterprise zone that may be entitled to receive either of these grants please direct enquiries to the information shown on the website as we are unable to process grant requests in any other form or by direct e-mail request.
Currently we are not able to process any funding requests that fall outside of the eligibility criteria for these two schemes.
For any other form of financial support the contact points shown at the website below should be used. Government Business Support
