Blackpool Growth Academy bring A-list Business Conference to Blackpool
Companies on the Enterprise Zone who pay business rates to Blackpool Council are invited to a one-off exclusive business conference for Blackpool scale-up businesses at Blackpool Football Club on Wednesday 9th October.
Brad Burton will kick things off – the UK’s number 1 motivational speaker, 4x bestselling business author, and keynote on some of the biggest stages around the world, delivering an unmissable presentation aimed at helping you to work through what’s stopping you be “the best you!”. From a Salford Council estate, addicted to drugs (twice!) and delivering pizza at 30, to multi-million-pound business owner, Brad will share his story of how to deal with the high and lows of starting, and scaling a business.
The incredible Dan Kelsall – arguably one of the best content marketers of this decade. He founded and sold Offended, a leading Manchester marketing agency in 2023 and is known for some of the most memorable marketing stunts. Plastering his most hilarious negative reviews to giant billboards around Manchester is just one of those stunts.
Dan will be talking to you about creative marketing and what makes him so good at what he does – struggling for ideas? Know that your team is creating mundane, vanilla content but can’t seem to shake it up? This session is for you.
And to top it all off, we will be welcoming our very own Ged Mills – the face of radio – as our host for the day!
This event will run from 9am until 2pm, with both breakfast and lunch provided. There will be a bar and networking opportunities over lunch.
It is anticipated that demand will greatly exceed the number of tickets, and to ensure fairness, priority will be given to established Blackpool based businesses who have not yet benefitted from support through the Scale Up Programme.
