Two Enterprise Zone businesses have teamed up in a training partnership.
HeliSpeed, a renowned provider of helicopter training solutions, based at Piper Court, and NHV Group, a leading helicopter services provider operating out of Blackpool Airport, have announced their partnership to deliver comprehensive helicopter maintenance training.
Leveraging HeliSpeed and NHV’s PART-147 approval covering both EASA & UK CAA standards, this collaboration aims to enhance the accessibility and quality of helicopter maintenance education.
The partnership will offer trainees an expanded scope with B1.3, B2, and B2 differences on the AW139 helicopter variant.
Helispeed and NHV Group are passionate about offering accessible and bespoke solutions when it comes to learning, therefore the collaboration provides flexible learning methods, including the option for distance learning based on customer requests. Alongside the flexible training, helicopter airframes will be utilised during practical courses at NHV’s bases in Norwich and Blackpool.
“We are thrilled to partner with NHV to deliver cutting-edge helicopter maintenance training,” said Brian Hopkinson, Part 147 Training Manager at HeliSpeed. “This collaboration allows us to combine our expertise and resources to offer comprehensive, high-quality training.”
Frédéric Matton, NHV Academy Training manager, adds: “The high-level expertise of HeliSpeed will enhance our AW139 type course capabilities. It’s an important step to offer both EASA & UK CAA customers with flexible solutions for this key helicopter type”.
The first course will take place from 27th May to 5th July.
