Bus service into Enterprise Zone to resume

A frequent bus service into Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone will resume from 1 September.

Blackpool Transport Services will extend the number 18 bus service into the Enterprise Zone, arriving as early as 7.15am and leaving as late as 6.44pm.

The bus will loop around the business park, stopping at the existing bus stops at Morrisons, Calder Court, Lightworks/Lysander House, Lockheed Court and Amy Johnson House.

The 18 service runs from Blackpool Victoria Hospital to Blackpool Town Centre, via Mereside, Marton and South Shore and offers an hourly service in each direction.

Work on building a new road connecting the Enterprise Zone to Common Edge Road is progressing well, and talks are ongoing about a bus service through the new road.
